IT email templates: Security alerts

All company communication needs may vary but certain standard template messages can come in handy for IT staff to keep employees up to date on “need to know” informational bulletins.

These bulletins may be one-off or regularly scheduled communications to help raise awareness about your technology processes, accepted procedures and best practices or to explain IT departmental goals and highlight its accomplishments.

A formal set of message templates will allow you to deliver both event-based and proactive communications, which ensures that everyone is up to speed on critical developments, projects and company policies.

TTo take some of the effort out of writing (and rewriting) emails to share with company staff and executives, TechRepublic Premium assembled some basic security templates to handle the most common types of communications, given the criticality of good security guidelines today.

Simply copy and paste the text of the templates you want to work with into your favorite word processing program and customize it to fit your needs. Then save it for future use and paste the content into an email for distribution to the appropriate recipients.
